Ms. Angela Marie Grasso, 68, died peacefully on January 3, 2023 in Morristown. Visiting will take place in the Prout Funeral Home (370 Bloomfield Ave, Verona) on Saturday, January 7, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Born and raised in Newark, Ms. Grasso moved to Verona in 1956. She graduated from Verona High School with the Class of 1972 and worked in accounts receivable for Emiliani Enterprises in Union.
Ms. Grasso was predeceased by her brother, Gary Grasso.
She is survived by her loving daughter, Anna Marie Grasso; brothers, Larry Grasso and Fred Grasso, Jr; her extended family, Molly and Vincent Emiliani with their children and grandchildren; longtime companion, Frank Ruggiero; nieces and nephews, Marissa and Darren Kaplan, Adrienne and Randy Simes, Brianna and Pete Ricci, Danielle and Gibbs Fillmore, Morgan and Cody Matlock, and Miranda Grasso; great-nephews, Conner Simes and Peter Ricci; sisters-in-law, Linda Grasso, Deborah Lesher and Susan Grasso; cousins, Margaret Ann Mandato and family and Patricia Gerard and lifelong friends, Sharon McEvoy, Marion Gasparinetti, Phyllis Kropp and Kim Alexander.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Rescue Squad, 12 Church Street, Verona, would be greatly appreciated.
