Mr. Charles F. Knoeller, 83, died at his home on October 31, 2018. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home,
370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Friday, November 2 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a funeral mass to follow in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona at 1 p.m.
Born in Jersey City, Mr. Knoeller lived in Belleville and Lyndhurst prior to moving to Verona in 1964.
He served in the U.S. Air Force Reserves and then had a career in marketing with Esso (Exxon Mobile) in Bayonne for 27 years. He was a member of REMOJ (Retired Exxon Mobile of Jersey).
He is survived by his wife Doris (nee Heimrich) Knoeller, his children, Kathleen, Thomas (Maryann), James (Suzanne).
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Daniel (Nicole), Laura (Thomas), Sean (Jessica), Kelsey (Karl) and his great grandchildren, Emma and Lily.
Mr. Knoeller was predeceased by his siblings, George, John, Edna and Dorothy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Verona Rescue Squad would be appreciated.
