Mrs. Betty Jane Ferguson, 88, died on Sunday, February 8, 2015. Services will be held in the Prout Funeral Home, ()
370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Wednesday, February 11 at 11:30 a.m. Friends will be received after 10:30 a.m.
Born in Orange, N.J., Mrs. Ferguson lived in Verona, Essex Fells and Vero Beach, Fla., prior to moving to West Orange. She was formerly a member of the Montclair Golf Club.
Mrs. Ferguson was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Ferguson, Jr., long-serving chief executive officer of First Fidelity Bank and her sister, Janet Foster. She was the mother of two sons, Robert and James and the sister of James King. Mrs. Ferguson is also survived by her grandsons, Christopher and Jonathan.
