Patricia M. (nee McMahon) Galligan, 92, died on Sunday May 30, 2021 in East Hanover. A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 32 Lakeside Avenue, Verona on Thursday, June 3 at 10 a.m. Condolences may be left at www.ProutFuneralHome.com.
Born and resided in East Orange for many years, Mrs. Galligan lived in West Orange prior to moving to Verona in 1994.
She was a purchasing agent at the Hospital Center of Orange for 25 years, retiring in 1993.
She was predeceased by her son, Thomas J. Galligan, her parents, Patrick and Mary McMahon, and her sisters, Claire, Anna, Eileen and Mary.
Mrs. Galligan is survived by her children Patricia Carey (Richard) and Robert L. Galligan (G. Angela), and her grandchildren James Carey, Courtney Ferraro, Bryan Galligan and Kaitlin Galligan, and great-grandchildren Makayla Ferraro and Nicholas Ferraro.
In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice in her memory would be greatly appreciated.
