Mrs. Michelina (nee Arena) Lachina, 90, died on December 17, 2019 at her home in Verona. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona will be on Thursday, December 19 from 4 to 8 p.m.
A funeral mass will be offered in Our Lady of the Lake Church, Verona on Friday, December 20 at 10 a.m. Interment to follow at the St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, Long Island. Born and raised in Brooklyn, Mrs. Lachina moved to Verona in March 2016.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Salvatore, and her sisters Josephine Pezzolanti and Frances Sandas. She is survived by her loving children Michael Lachina (and his wife, Susan) and Joseph Lachina (and his wife, Val) and two adored grandchildren, Isabella and Dominick, as well as nieces and nephews.
