Mrs. Lucille V. Trotta, died on October 21, 2019 in West Caldwell. Visiting will be in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona on Thursday, October 24 from 9 to 10 a.m., followed by a funeral mass in St. Aloysius Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell at 10:30 a.m.
Born in Newark, Mrs. Trotta lived in Bloomfield for 50 years and Verona for two years prior to moving to West Caldwell Care Center five years ago, where she was lovingly cared for, as if a member of the family.
She graduated from the Wilfred Academy of Cosmetology and owned Lucille’s in Bloomfield for 60 years.
Mrs. Trotta was predeceased by her husband, Frank Trotta and her siblings, Columbia Petrole, Florence Meola and Ralph Rosania.
She is survived by her daughter, Toni DiLauri, her granddaughter, Jennifer DiLauri Lancia (Nicky) and great-grandson, Nicholas Lancia III.
In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9959 would be appreciated.
