Mrs. Virginia (Ginny) Wilson died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home in Verona. She was 62 years old. Visiting in the Prout Funeral Home, 370 Bloomfield Avenue, Verona, will be on Saturday, May 5 from 3 to 5 p.m., with a service to be held at 4:45 p.m.
Born in Manhattan, Ginny moved to Verona in 1984.
She graduated from St. Vincent’s Hospital School of Nursing in New York City and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Caldwell University.
Ginny was a nurse at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York, St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and for the Verona Board of Education at the Forest Avenue School and Laning Avenue School in Verona.
She is survived by her husband, Steve Wilson, her children, Christopher Wilson (and his wife, Jennifer), Amy Wilson, Kenneth Wilson, her brother, Kenneth Kolnacki (and his wife, Joan) and her nieces, Jennifer and Krissy.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Catskill Animal Sanctuary, 316 Old Stage Road, Saugerties, NY 12477 would be appreciated.
